I love the fact that there are hundreds, if not thousands of types of grapes, excluding the ones that have gone extinct. I found this gem at the Renault Winery when I went down there to pick up some of their blueberry champagne. While they make a May wine, this actually taste like one of the wines from SchwartzKatt, and this reminds me more of a traditional German may wine than anything else.

The taste in itself is reminiscent of a very good grape juice, undiluted by water. While it might remind you of a very expensive jelly, it has a good smoothness that caresses your tongue somewhat silkishly. I would recommend drinking this wine either alone after a meal, or with cured meats, fruits and cheese.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
